1/2 bh = 56 ... b = 56/h2
then add the other info
wtf
You have two equations (1) b = 112/h & (2) h = 2b+2 @PunishedBob
so wait is it 2(56/h2) repost it i forgot
it's a system of linear equations and the only formula you need is A = 1/2 bh

the way you solve a system of linear equations is by substituting one variable for another in one of the equations
so b = 112/(h) would become b = 112/(2b+2)
then isolate b
or you just have computers do it in MATLAB or Julia
@PunishedBob you're not retarded you just have to learn this (((trick))) and practice it a few times
post IQ score
do you understand the following words: SUBSTITUTE ONE VARIABLE FOR ANOTHER
NO
well there's the issue
JUST TELL ME THE ANSER
no
ok so what we nerds mean when we say SUBSTITUTE ONE VARIABLE FOR ANOTHER is strictly in reference to A SYSTEM OF EQUATIONS as in when you're given two or more equations with identical VARIABLES
i'm gonna be a professional gamer
and live in a gamer house
the VARIABLES here are BASE and HEIGHT
ok
we are given A = 1/2 B*H and we are given the area as 56
and we are also given H = B*2+2
so the two equations are 56 = 1/2 * B * H and H = B * 2 + 2
so to find the base we use the first equation 56 = 1/2 * B * (((H)))
Lmao fucking nerds
the H is the jewish variable and we can substitute in the other definition for it which is B * 2 + 2
