yeah that thing is nothing like the original

behringer has an ms-20 clone idk if that one is any good

sucks because it's definitely inexpensive and does more than the monologue

some people complaining about it are also "soundcloud electronica" turbo-spergs

i'd be using it in a band environment

with a live drum kit, etc

but some people are saying it's like prohibitively badly made

with effects and all that i'm sure it would sound cool still

but look into the behringer k-2

i like the form factor of the ms20

oh and i think the ms-20 needs one of those sq-1 things for cv sequencing

i wouldnt be using it for step sequencing

not compatible with eurorack or anything like that

i don't muck about with all that shit

i like as much stuff un-quantized as possible

eurorack sequencers are usually un-quantized without a seperate quantizer

(the pitches not the timing)

but the clock of the sequencer can also be messed with

i'm all manual
