@Salacious Swanky Cat You could argue that the majority of refugee's live in hotels and government sponsored housing because governments haven't exactly developed a system of handling refugees that involves voluntary sponsorship.

At least not that I'm aware of.

Religious groups house and sponsor refugees all the time. These people are more likely just virtue signalers

Remind me of this initiative to house homeless people in Los Angeles. The city was going to give a tax write off if you expanded your home and used the expansion to house a homeless person. A local radio station took caller. All the callers said they would be happy to house a homeless person if they were woman or single mom. The radio hosts told them no your getting a single man, the caller would basically dodge by say they'd only house the women

funny that, most homeless are men

it's all that male privilege

^that's the point, a lot of the caller for some reason beleived most homeless were women and single moms

it'll keep you warm at night and fed in the mornings so women need the shelters more...

just like how the media portrays those crossing the border

I wouldn't house a homeless person on the same property that my family is living on...

yeah they managed to find the 2 women among hundreds of men, it's kind of impressive

but you would house a homless refugee who might have the same issues

Perhaps I'm wrong, but I believe the odds of getting a psycho druggy homeless person is a lot more likely than a refugee that is forced to flee their home country

the US should have no refugee claims at the southern border
