Do people find her charming? Like what's the angle for the people who like her?
Even if this is humor it lacks charisma
even people who don't work with Brie Larson find her annoying
i mean the entirety of her interviews make her seem unlikeable
she seemed likeable enough in *Community*
this is why you never feminism. not even once
also, this may be rude, but she looks terrible for her age. i don't know what happened lol
I don't think she looks bad, just plain.
I'm not talking about the parts she's taken. In her off screen interviews she seems unlikable. I was watching a charisma video about Emilia Clarke the other day and it made it more apparent the things Brie Larson does that makes her not likable. The video pointed out how Emilia laughs, smiles, talks up the other people shes with, and goes along with mistakes someone else makes in interviews. By contrast Brie Larson doesn't smile, talks badly about other people, and tries to turn people words against them (and is other wise hostile).
Brie also make a lot of stuff about her
I really don't like Brie, it pisses me off how she so casually mentions that she's the strongest character in the MCU... Like bitch. Until you take a dying star to the chest, you ain't shit compared to Thor, and even then, if you're the strongest it's not because you did anything to earn it.
Her character has no arc.
Emilia Clarke is interesting, because I like her, I think she's probably a pretty decent person, though I absolutely hate her character on GoT.
That why I'm comparing how they behave in interviews, not the characters they play on screen. I like plenty of actors who play villains.
or I mean i find the actors likable (I don't know them personally)
case in point: Alan Rickman
When the villain has a more developed character arc in a movie with over 10 protagonists than you...
Christoph Waltz also seems pretty cool
yeah, plenty of actors who seem cool off screen like Michael Rooker
I agree with you, though the problem is that I don't think the show runners (or possibly Martin himself) meant for Daenerys to be a villain.
i haven't seen *Captain Marvel* but i heard that the worst part of the movie is Captain Marvel
I got a cam rip of it from a "friend"
I refuse to pay money for it. I don't even know if I'll watch it
Since when is Daenerys a villain?
She's egomaniacal, murderous, dishonest and capricous. She's certainly not a very good hero.
That's pretty much everyone that isn't a Stark or Tyrion.
I thought that was every character in that show
Plot twist. The white walkers are the true heroes.
Maybe it's just me, but I was really bothered me that she put on this 'breaking the wheel' 'freeing the slaves' persona for nakedly personal gain, and never lost anything she actually cared about for it.
I think that she would have never been the 'breaker of chains' if she'd actually had the cash to buy the Unsullied.
Idk. She's not a perfect character, but for all she's been through I find a lot of her actions understandable, though not justifiable.
I've just had a problem for a while with the fact that Game of Thrones is the story where 'anyone can die,' except that it became clear pretty early on that it's more like 'anyone but Jon and Daenerys can die.'
I'm not a huge fan of Jon either, but he doesn't annoy me as much.
Well they can't kill literally everyone.
did they kill the midget?
No, but he probably hasn't done anything stupid enough to die from yet.
Debatably.
He cast his lot with Daenerys.
