for now
you gotta move ASAP
thank god UC Berkeley is a top school for computer science
Yes, I escaped the shithole of Seattle for a significantly more sane city of San Diego.
once i graduate im out. thinking of heading back to texas
But yeah, I don't want to live forever in San Diego, just seven or so years.
dude nobody gives a fuck what school you went to just that you went to school
ah dude they totally do with software engineering
i have family that recruit for google and ive got the inside scoop
well you would know better than I
Yeah, get finished is what you just gotta do.
applications with a CS degree from ASU get thrown straight in the trash
google internally ranks university in a tier system
so depending on what school you go to, it puts you in a certain tier
I'm here to tell the young bucks that college is a scam and you are seriously better off joining the military
lol well for many thats true
and if you still want to go to college, you can do it after
exactly
stem degrees still hold weight
sure but you gotta be smart
theres sjw shit seeping in, but for now its not too bad
most folks ain't smart
yea, thats the one thing
Surprisingly, if you are actually going to do something pertinent with it, English Degree is actually helpful.
dumb as shit I'd say
But most people choose English because they do not know what else to do.
not the english degree, most people
english degree leads to job ops
they choose a subset like romantic literature of the ming dynasty. they put themselves in some silly niche
feminsit underwater asshole bleaching does not
If you are planning on being an ESL teacher, English degrees are good, and in Tech English degrees are popular because they need folks who can write good documentation.
^
tech writers for sure
thats a big one
but for that stuff, i'd recommend not going to a top college.
duey bear do you watch owen benjamin
I have not even finished by degree and it has brought me opportunities.
the extra cost probably wont bring much benefit
I watch some Owen Benji, but eh, not particularly entranced.
