$180 for like 50% more FOV than a rift and 20% more resolution
plus it's lighter
Huh. That's not bad. I've largely been wanting a solid, but realistic FOV. I want it to be high resolution, and preferably 120 Hz butter smooth. But, of course, largely technology isn't advanced enough where that is reality at 4k or greater. feelsbadman
Have you ever played Assetto Corsa?
All i do is assetto corsa
the mixed reality headsets are like 90 fov at 90hz
there's like 5 of them but they all use the same panels
105 fov whoops https://i.imgur.com/o6yMGAt.png
Yaas.
I need to get back into playing AC.
Perhaps pick up a Logitech setup.
oh m aybe the rift has like 100fov according to some forums, not sure
resolution definitely helps whenyou're trying to maximize braking zones and use the whole track but yea lol
True. I've been getting more into cars, and AC only solidifies the fact that I want all of them 👀
It's very very fun and definitely worth the money especciallyy if you can find a used wheel and VR headset
That, and I've been watching this group called StraightPipes on Youtube who do reviews of any and all cars.
Hmm.
When I pay off my debt I'll have to look into it.
I'm very lucky that i have fun in cheap as fuck cars and i have nearly no desire for any car more than $10k
I think assetto might even help me with that
See, I don't have nearly as much fun but that's because I'm lacking a turbo right now. I had bad luck with previous private sales, so I finally got something at a dealership.
I would contemplate mods but I'm not a fan of the blind spots in the Hyundai Veloster.
you've got a veloster with no turbo?
I haven't driven one but the blind spots do look kinda horrendous
@Just for youtube [NB1]
Trucks won't pay *as much.*
Since you *insist* that I *can only* mean electric then proceed to poo-poo "electric 18wheeler," https://www.engadget.com/2017/11/23/tesla-semi-electric-truck-price/.
In reality I said I **DON'T** know the answer yet. Hell, it *could* be nuclear (though God I hope not, every idiot on Earth with thier own micro fusion reactor is a terrifying idea).
my friend just bought a Veloster N with a 6 speed, he enjoys it very much but man that's an expensive automobile
I did. It was the cheapest model. I wound up getting a non-turbo'd at 40k/miles. It was in good condition. I had to have my Uncle co-sign because my credit was meh at the time from debt.
Yearp, I was eyeballing the Veloster N in Blue.
I've heard it's extremely fun.
But like 30kish
Very capable car too
can keep up with corvettes and stuff in some scenarios
Definitely. People still dick ride Honda Civic Type-R but it is a good track car.
Just too gaudy for me.
The Veloster N is a good balance and for Hyundai not being in the scene for really that long.
They're doing purty good.
But yeah, those blind spots.
Sigh
@Mandatory Carry I didn't insist you mean electric. FYI. I think you have the capacity to understand that, don't you?
Pretty sure anyone that uses this discord knows Tesla is trying to make an 18 wheeler. It's not going to reduce prices. They can't haul nearly as much. I literally live a few miles from the Tesla factory so i'm quite aware of it. It's just shitty, doesn't matter how aware of it I am, it's still gonna be shitty. Electric poo-poo.
Nuclear is probably the answer. FYI again.
I'd choose the Type-r over the Veloster N too @[DGI]tech call me a dick rider lol
