I'm a big fan of old school cars.

2019-05-30 17:56:46 UTC

If I had to choose between the hot/hatches it would probably be between Veloster N, Type-R, or VW Golf R.

2019-05-30 17:57:04 UTC

But I'm also eyeballing more expensive vehicles.

2019-05-30 17:57:17 UTC

I kinda have an itching to drive a BMW M2 Comp.

2019-05-30 17:57:42 UTC

Yea i try to not even think about those more expensive vehicles lmao

2019-05-30 17:58:00 UTC

for work i've driven them, lets just say they're quite fantastic

2019-05-30 17:58:20 UTC

👀

2019-05-30 17:59:03 UTC

Some day I wish I was rich. That M2 Comp is 50-60k 😂

2019-05-30 17:59:08 UTC

It's incredible how far they've advanced

2019-05-30 17:59:12 UTC

even your veloster

2019-05-30 17:59:34 UTC

I'm grateful. We could still be riding horses!

2019-05-30 17:59:46 UTC

compared to a 80's Ferrari your veloster is quite capable lol

2019-05-30 18:00:06 UTC

My friggin honda fit could out handle a 70's porsche

2019-05-30 18:00:21 UTC

That's insane to think about. The only reason why the Veloster is capable is because it's light weight.

2019-05-30 18:00:22 UTC

oof

2019-05-30 18:00:44 UTC

Everything, power delivery, abs, tires, chassis rigidity

2019-05-30 18:00:48 UTC

I would have thought turbo kits would be cheaper.

2019-05-30 18:00:55 UTC

But best I've been seeing was several thousand.

2019-05-30 18:00:56 UTC

mainly tires and chassis regidity and suspension geometry

2019-05-30 18:01:10 UTC

Good point.

2019-05-30 18:01:17 UTC

How bout just swapping the motor in from the Veloster turbo?

2019-05-30 18:01:45 UTC

Not sure how expensive that would be either. I have knowledge and skills, but not enough to do a full motor/engine swap.

2019-05-30 18:01:54 UTC

or if it's the same motor with a turbo on it, just use the turbo and stuff

2019-05-30 18:02:02 UTC

Hmm.

2019-05-30 18:02:07 UTC

yea it's definitely not a small task

2019-05-30 18:02:34 UTC

feelsbad

2019-05-30 18:02:34 UTC

But since the non turbo and the turbo are the same chassis, it wouldn't be too difficult

2019-05-30 18:02:44 UTC

a lot easier than putting a honda motor into a hyundai

2019-05-30 18:02:48 UTC

know what i mean?

2019-05-30 18:02:53 UTC

it all bolts up no custom parts needed

2019-05-30 18:02:58 UTC

For sure.

2019-05-30 18:02:58 UTC

but still tons of money and work

2019-05-30 18:03:05 UTC

I'll have to do some digging and see cost.

2019-05-30 18:03:16 UTC

I'm probably about to get a better job, so soon expenses won't be a big deal.

2019-05-30 18:03:17 UTC

probably not worth it imo

2019-05-30 18:03:25 UTC

Probably not.

2019-05-30 18:03:33 UTC

As someone with a 117hp Fit, i don't desire more power

2019-05-30 18:03:34 UTC

...
Moving on...There's nothing *"magical"* about it (and DON'T try this *"I'm saying but I didn't say"* shit with me), it's **VERY SIMPLE,** new fuel sources means lower fuel prices means lower prices on everything. That's about as magical as air.

2019-05-30 18:03:36 UTC

The swap + labor cost of a prof shop to do it...

2019-05-30 18:03:37 UTC

phew.

2019-05-30 18:04:06 UTC

yeah well it seems magical to me.
