they are and I think they always were, at least for the modern iterations of hybrids, like when the Prius first came out
in reality though https://i.imgur.com/FdkRMpM.png

Hybrids don't get what their advertised mpg is
My Prius actually gets higher than the advertised mpg
probably because you care
Maybe mine is just some sort of magic fluke
and it matters how you drive it
my Fit is supposed to get 27 city and 33 highway, i get 35 city and 42hwy if i try a little
I also drive <8000 miles a year
drive it like a grandma and up goes the efficiency
I may also drive like grandma
But not my time efficiency
time doesn't change unless you're driving across the state
realistically
take a stopwatch and find out
Tell that to McDonald's
See what they say
or, try to beat google's estimated time of arrival
SEE IF THEY HAND YOU HASHBROWNS
Oh I always beat Google.
yeah - a 2 minute time saving on your daily commute can cost significantly more
are you beating google on highway trips?
or trips around town
It can cost me breakfast
Both
where do you live lol
Texas San Antone
Okay perhaps google can't predict shit there
but start timing your trips
I'm fairly certain the Prius is still made with Ni-MH batteries. All-electric cars are probably lithium. The rest might vary between manufacturer
I do. I keep track.
I know when I'm late somewhere
you time your trips?
i mean your commutes
like the same trip each time
same time of day
same route
Yes
My routine is pretty set
Tho I'm gathering new data with my main highway reopening
