it used to friction fit very well
it will get loose with use
brb telephone
thing is, my other side's port still fits extremely well and these are relatively new (~2weeks) so it
's not a wear thing either
you could just attach some blue tack in the connector or even some non-conductive powder as quick fix
your other solution would be to desolder whole area that you find to be issue, attach some glue to the shell inside, solder back and push in hard
those are also pretty cheap, you could just use strong glue to make it "pernament" fit you'll lose the cable-change option, but that is not really big issue
if i were to use blu-tack would i attach a tiny bit on the connector to make sure it stays in place?
i would put it inside the shell where connection happens and let the pressure pull out spare material(what should happen because you say it is loose)
you can not fuck up,because you can always just use spare blue-tac to pull the old one out
It's loose in the sense that the port isn't loose, but when I connect the cable the fit is loose
So that would work?
yeah exactly
alright
@Edward Nygma so this part?
is that a fucking 2 pin molex i see there
dohohohoh
kek
$80AUD+ KZ IEMs
dear, appreciate kz quality
I read that as "kz ieds"
*rewraps turban*
ieds: now with bluetooth
To make it short: are the metal connectors inside the plug wobbling, or the whole red connector when you put the cable in there?
whats the name of the cheap panasonic iems
kz-bluetooth IEDs
still better than samsung IEDs
damn 450 yuan = 52GBP
these r gonna be some expenisvse KZ
@Sdeck37 neither - it's that the port's grip on the connector is basically nil when i put the cable in
which yes, could be due to wear, but one side is literally perfectly fine
Well then just get some fine pliers and crimp it a bit
Unless you wanna replace the whole connector, I'm not really sure why you opened the whole thing then to begin with..
Well, actually the damn thing broke open
Can I just glue it together to hold it?
andI don't think that would help as the pins don't go in very far
...
Tbh it's obvious now that you have no clue what you're doing
Just buy a new one, if it's buggering you so much
