it used to friction fit very well

2018-05-10 12:50:32 UTC

it will get loose with use

2018-05-10 12:50:36 UTC

brb telephone

2018-05-10 12:51:05 UTC

thing is, my other side's port still fits extremely well and these are relatively new (~2weeks) so it

2018-05-10 12:51:13 UTC

's not a wear thing either

2018-05-10 12:52:17 UTC

you could just attach some blue tack in the connector or even some non-conductive powder as quick fix

2018-05-10 12:53:34 UTC

your other solution would be to desolder whole area that you find to be issue, attach some glue to the shell inside, solder back and push in hard

2018-05-10 12:55:21 UTC

those are also pretty cheap, you could just use strong glue to make it "pernament" fit you'll lose the cable-change option, but that is not really big issue

2018-05-10 12:57:16 UTC

if i were to use blu-tack would i attach a tiny bit on the connector to make sure it stays in place?

2018-05-10 13:00:11 UTC

i would put it inside the shell where connection happens and let the pressure pull out spare material(what should happen because you say it is loose)

2018-05-10 13:00:50 UTC

you can not fuck up,because you can always just use spare blue-tac to pull the old one out

2018-05-10 13:01:41 UTC

It's loose in the sense that the port isn't loose, but when I connect the cable the fit is loose

2018-05-10 13:01:47 UTC

So that would work?

2018-05-10 13:01:52 UTC

yeah exactly

2018-05-10 13:01:56 UTC

alright

2018-05-10 13:16:22 UTC

2018-05-10 14:17:48 UTC

ieds: now with bluetooth

2018-05-10 14:25:30 UTC

To make it short: are the metal connectors inside the plug wobbling, or the whole red connector when you put the cable in there?

2018-05-10 14:25:50 UTC

whats the name of the cheap panasonic iems

2018-05-10 14:49:36 UTC

kz-bluetooth IEDs

2018-05-10 14:49:45 UTC

2018-05-10 14:50:42 UTC

damn 450 yuan = 52GBP

2018-05-10 14:50:48 UTC

these r gonna be some expenisvse KZ

2018-05-10 15:22:38 UTC

@Sdeck37 neither - it's that the port's grip on the connector is basically nil when i put the cable in

2018-05-10 15:23:12 UTC

which yes, could be due to wear, but one side is literally perfectly fine

2018-05-10 15:33:04 UTC

Well then just get some fine pliers and crimp it a bit

2018-05-10 15:34:19 UTC

Unless you wanna replace the whole connector, I'm not really sure why you opened the whole thing then to begin with..

2018-05-10 15:34:37 UTC

Well, actually the damn thing broke open

2018-05-10 15:34:58 UTC

Can I just glue it together to hold it?

2018-05-10 15:37:49 UTC

andI don't think that would help as the pins don't go in very far

2018-05-10 15:56:32 UTC

...

2018-05-10 15:56:52 UTC

Tbh it's obvious now that you have no clue what you're doing

2018-05-10 15:57:09 UTC

Just buy a new one, if it's buggering you so much
