the whole trans-abled thing has been a thing for a while now
dysphoria affects more than just perception of "gender identity". There are people who feel they shouldnt have an arm or their legs or an ear or whatever. The issue is that none of the arguments for dysphoria not being a mental illness stop before they reach people who want to rip out their own eyeballs, so the left is forced to argue for transdisability
That's kind of the problem isn't it? If your solution to a man feeling like a woman is that he should dress in drag, take female hormones and eventually commit doctor assisted genital mutilation, how can you argue that someone who is disphoric about being able bodied shouldn't chop off their leg?
well so theres a few differences, to be fair
like for instance, a male dressing in women's clothing isnt really doing damage to himself.
now you can comment on the health risks associated with sexual reassigmnent, and I 100% agree that's an issue. However the idea behind that is that it was *supposed* to be a last ditch effort to prevent someone from falling into a deep depression and trying to kill themselves
the issue is that people then saw that, went "man that's a shitty situation" and then formed a political bloc to help those people, because even post-transition they were getting fucked with
and like all political blocs, it now exists to perpetuate itself basically
The problem I have with the argument that it's a last ditch effort is that it's kinda like the Clintonian statement of 'safe, legal and rare.' We sure don't hear much about that last part anymore do we?

I see Israel as a mostly reactionary state. If people weren't always trying to kill them, they would probably ease up. I mean the whole country only exists as a reaction to them being rounded up and killed. Even today many ethnic Jews are fleeing to that country as a last resort from the "refugees" pouring into europe. At some point though, Jewish people are going to have to be confronted for also playing identity politics.

The current state of Middle Eastern Tension, and the continual wars that have driven people from their homeland, goes back to Cold War Era politics, in which The Soviet Union was trying to encroach on the Religious States of Asia Minor for both their oil, and to suppress radical Abrahamic Ideology from all three branches that threatened the Russian "religion" of the state. The US had a vested interest in preventing the acquisition of the Middle East into the USSR because we hadn't discovered several of our own major oil fields at the time, so giving Saudi fields over to the Soviets would have led to the downfall of the US, so we armed several militant groups in the region to fight back the Soviets for us.
Once the Soviet Union fell, all the militants still had their weapons and started turning on their governments, whether for good or for bad is situational, and the region continued to be the war torn hellscape it's been for 6,000 years.

That's what drove the migrants out, but additionally, the imperialistic nature of Islam requires those who practice the religion to take the lands of non muslims by any means necessary (i.e. infiltrating refugee populations to get refugee status in the countries of the the infidels)
