"but these will last me easily 15 years without any extra cost"
.... yeah right
lol
he'll have to replace the pads regularly which are like $80
otherwise its a headphone and will last forever
assuming no cable faults, the speaker film does not break, etc etc
cables are replacable
and youre not breaking a hd800's diaphragm lol
i kind of wish he would spill cola on it
i hope my k712s are forever headphones
yeah hd 800 used are my next headphone prob

samson GO (to the polls)
do you have an interface?
nop
I just want something that's not my camera mic
at2020usb would be the best bet if you want quality and nothing else
otherwise bmeme/"insert other chink mic here" + a used interface
or SamsGONG
samson go mic is good
especially if you close mic it
tbh that + a stand and pop filter would be really good value
no dealing with interface or whatever
a friend of mine invested $200+ into a mic setup just for discord <:downs:355737951918882846>
ew
had a blue yeti before
i gave up on autism mics and just leave my measurement mic on my desk lol
tbh yeti is fine for cheap these days
does voip fine
I asked him why is he investing that much, he told me that his friends dont deserve to listen to him in a bad quality
I was thinking of samson go, it's so cute
its good
