Guess it wasn't white supremacy this time. Dang! Almost had a double whammy
Gamergate? In *MY* 2019?!
I forget who said it, but I think a YouTuber I watch recently described Gamergate as the first major conflict in the current culture war with Progressives, but nobody had any way of knowing that at the time.
Which might be why journalists just can't let it go
😂
"Gamergate is their Vietnam" -ShortFatOtaku
That's a more colorful description than I remembered, but I guess it works
It's just like the Music thing way back when that Tipper Gore tried to push
Just now it's video games
Wasn't hillary in on that thing to when it happened?
I don't remember
iirc, hillary was on the 'videogames are the spawn of satan' bandwagon way back when
Lul
seriously though, how did we get to video games again? Blaming guns hasn't worked out, so we go after games now?
I'm not sure it ever went away
Why is it so difficult for media and politicians to believe that human beings are capable of distinguishing between fiction and reality?
I think they just take a thing they don't like about Today's Youths and work backwards to paint it as detrimental to society at large
@Spanners tell that to the billions of religious fundamentalists around the world 🤷
>gives the majority Matrix blue pill
>Rest will actively pursue greater heights
Two birds, one stone.
wow he's actually right about something
Black science man alternates between NPC and based/redpilled with strange frequency
he's no where close to being red-pilled
Broken clock moment, then

I still remember that tweet he made where he almost literally called for a Ministry of Truth
sounds juicy
Neil deGrasse tyson is against the teachers unions. He thinks they're a big hindrance toward better scientific education and literacy.
not sure how I feel about unions, I know they have a purpose, but they've been co-opted and bastardized quite a bit
Agreed.
I feel they've degraded, and tolerate mediocrity.
It also doesn't make sense in schools. You need to pay people with science degrees more if you want them to teach. they can all go and make more in the private sector. the same is not true for all the humanties degrees.
but unions make you pay them all based on seniority.
also (at least where I grew up) they get tenure in 2 years (grade school)
abolish unions, abolish the bored of education, make all education non-mandatory and non-free
Yeah... and just because you have greater seniority does not mean you're more skilled, talented, or experienced. You can twiddle your thumbs for 10 years and blend in with nothingness.
