@Lord Zedd I really struggle with feeling any empathy with these folks, and I'm not sure that I feel here. They're only pissed because the surgery didn't go well. Sounds like there was plenty of information and time to call it off, so I just can't feel bad that it feels "tricked".

But they consider these surgeries a matter of life or death

I mean, the inability to accept your body is obviously a mental illness (dysmorphia or whatever). Like people who are obsessed with plastic surgery. But the ones who cut their dicks off and get a nasty hole that wont heal are extra sick

Instead of leaving crazy people on their own causing trouble in society, like all the homeless druggies in big cities, they need a structured environment where they get treatment and cant leave until they are better

It's just like some of the more extreme anti prison activists. They say the justice system is corrupted, and they are probably right in some cases, but instead of fixing it they want to shut it down completely.
That's what happened to mental institutions just because some of then were bad

These things just need an exorcist.
