I feel like it "plagues" this collection I've got going on
cause it's the only one I don't like
I can take them off you
I say make them into some frakenstein nightmare
10 Hz to 100 kHz
<:alismirk:230784726615588865>
now show me what fucking studio has microphones what can record sub 20hz sounds
microphones for that exist but there is no reason use them outside of specialized lab needs and stuff
~:D
would love studios what record infrasound shit on their mics
i doubt any studio uses measurement microphones like ecm8000 for vocals or other sounds
somebody correct me if im wrong on this one tho?
its irrelevant
you arent hearing sub 20 with something like that
youd get plenty of sub 20 audio from film soundtracks or just films in general, but who the fuck is watching movies on their iems lol
afaik most LFEs are still tied to +20hz range
on a plane?
can you even hear sub 20 with earphones
does it even matter
i doubt that 99+% home theathres dont have subwoofers for sub20hz stuff
nor many many many movietheatres
a ton of HT guys build subs specifically for sub 20
there's stuff like this http://www.rotarywoofer.com/
i wanna build one of those one day lol
sub-20 feels π
>pricing >22-26k dollars
yeah that ~1% people definetly
pretty muchx
and you gotta have the space
you do them in an infinite baffle config
i even wonder what films/media has that sub20hz in there with enough punch/focus on it to be noticeable
so like you either have a hole in a wall between two rooms, or you stick it in a door lol
ur
yea
maybe with custom EQs but that woule be raping the movies intended audio
only for the super hardcore lol
stuff like dunkirk probably has a fair bit of sub 20
the song with lowest audio has 18 for me, song with highest is in the 20k+, so there are songs you can just listen to with it
not saying these are really that low/high, just saying people actuall do it
