That's how Model did it

2020-01-12 16:20:48 UTC

Though, obviously don't do it.

2020-01-12 16:20:52 UTC

Bit the barrel of his Luger while up against a tree

2020-01-12 16:21:02 UTC

At all that is. Suicide is big gay.

2020-01-12 16:25:38 UTC

says the guy who wants to ernest hemingway himself at 50

2020-01-12 16:25:48 UTC

Most of what he says is projection

2020-01-12 16:25:56 UTC

if you haven't figured this out by now...

2020-01-12 16:26:35 UTC

If Kevin had the balls he'd have already choked down the lead pill he imagines I want to take

2020-01-12 16:40:18 UTC

@Dan V
I didn't say want to. I said going to fam.

2020-01-12 16:40:41 UTC

but it's gay, kevin

2020-01-12 16:41:30 UTC

@Dan V
Nah. Getting emotional and offing yourself is big gay.

2020-01-12 16:42:01 UTC

Making a calculated cost/benefit analysis and following through is chad as fuck.

2020-01-12 16:49:32 UTC

i agree but i don't know how you would do a cost-benefit analysis on your own life at 50 unless it's real shit

2020-01-12 16:52:36 UTC

Not necessarily.

2020-01-12 16:53:14 UTC

You can look at things like cost of maintaining healthcare, declining happiness, etc.

2020-01-12 16:53:23 UTC

Pretty easy actually.

2020-01-12 16:54:21 UTC

For everyone there is a point where keeping them alive costs more for themselves and others than it benefits anyone.

2020-01-12 16:54:48 UTC

Comments on it are also gold.

2020-01-12 16:55:49 UTC

i understand but that's if you're looking at the value of human life in monetary terms. and "declining happiness", i agree that can happen as you age but hopefully, you've done enough in the prior years to keep happiness going

2020-01-12 16:56:29 UTC

It's not purely monetary, though that is certainly a factor.

2020-01-12 16:57:00 UTC

There's the time cost to your loved ones or physicians to take care of you.

2020-01-12 16:57:15 UTC

The pain from watching your health decline.

2020-01-12 16:57:29 UTC

Especially with diseases like Alzheimers.

2020-01-12 16:57:50 UTC

The physical pain to you as your body starts breaking down.

2020-01-12 17:01:45 UTC

for sure, those things happen

2020-01-12 17:02:07 UTC

but is that at 50 or is that at end of life in your 80's/90's?

2020-01-12 17:03:31 UTC

The decline tends to be exponential.

2020-01-12 17:03:49 UTC

But, generally, starts around 50ish.

2020-01-12 17:04:35 UTC

For me personally, makes more sense to go out at the top of the decline than the end.

2020-01-12 17:04:53 UTC

Obviously changes based on circumstance.

2020-01-12 17:05:28 UTC

If you're raising a teenager or have a wife dependent on you at 50, obviously don't do it.

2020-01-12 17:07:52 UTC

wife? why help the woman, kevin? lmao

2020-01-12 17:08:27 UTC

Because abandoning your responsibilities is pretty cucked behavior.

2020-01-12 17:08:40 UTC

i understand the argument in a utilitarian/objectivist POV but i disagree with it

2020-01-12 17:09:55 UTC

i'd like to think that if i ever have a family who depended on me and i want to not-be-alive myself that i would get that shit fixed

2020-01-12 17:10:33 UTC

Lol. Can you not read?

2020-01-12 17:10:48 UTC

That's exactly what I'm saying to do.
