stop buying trash reeeeeee

2018-08-08 17:45:50 UTC

@Lecter you wont get noise cancelling headphones for under $150 new

2018-08-08 17:45:57 UTC

at least nothing worth looking at

2018-08-08 17:46:19 UTC

the rnd required for good anc is stupid because bose has patents

2018-08-08 17:46:28 UTC

ety friend

2018-08-08 17:46:51 UTC

the only people who've done anything of worth comparable have been sony, sennheiser, and those who have purchased bose's tech

2018-08-08 17:47:49 UTC

I said that price due to this being chi fi, 150 being the cheapest used I have seen, tbh idk about chifi improvements

2018-08-08 17:48:01 UTC

china cant do anc for shit

2018-08-08 17:48:04 UTC

buy a used qc25

2018-08-08 17:48:07 UTC

that's about it

2018-08-08 17:48:36 UTC

qc15 if you dont mind some older "standards" like non rechargable batteries and no wireless

2018-08-08 17:48:42 UTC

actually idk if the qc25 even had wireless

2018-08-08 17:49:20 UTC

i guess you dont seem to need wireless as a necessity

2018-08-08 17:50:27 UTC

My budget is more or less unlimited, but since it's due to a situation that might change, i plan to expend the minimum.

2018-08-08 17:50:51 UTC

should be able to get a used qc25 for around 150

2018-08-08 17:50:58 UTC

less than that is going to be sketchy

2018-08-08 17:51:14 UTC

buy a qc25 then sell it later ;)

2018-08-08 17:51:17 UTC

if you can find one with munted pads, you can buy chinese pads for fuck all and slap them on

2018-08-08 17:51:58 UTC

I do have some sennheiser but they are a bit old and I do want to use this as an excuse to try noise canceling

2018-08-08 17:53:03 UTC

With a bit old, I mean the pads should be replaced, but I don't use them as much now so I haven't bothered kek

2018-08-08 17:55:49 UTC

Lol I found 3 used ones on the eBay equivalent of my country, 60-115 usd, and the 60 ish ones are actually on my city. I'm from Colombia, and I know one could buy technology cheap on Venezuela so those prices aren't as suspicious, but I shall check them then

2018-08-08 17:57:51 UTC

Thanks for the recommendations :) I'm open to other stuff, I'll check on my own then.

2018-08-08 18:50:26 UTC

2018-08-09 03:58:14 UTC

What is a good pair of earbuds to go with a shanling m0?

2018-08-09 04:32:08 UTC

nah

2018-08-09 04:33:22 UTC

It's a hi-fi player, not just any earbuds can make total use of what it can do.

2018-08-09 04:34:01 UTC

But it is an entry level hi-fi player, so it makes no sense buying something that it's too good for it.

2018-08-09 04:38:52 UTC

2018-08-09 04:39:42 UTC
