All songs are signed with a signing key and for them to unlock "hi resolution" parts of the song you need to pay for hardware that can "unfold" these parts (like the essential hd audio thing that snaps on the back)
and going from MQA FLAC > FLAC is effectively useless and you might as well just listen to 16bit music
because MQA is ~14bits when not unfolded
