I'm just happy the Russo brothers are interested in Secret Wars in the future. I can't think of rolling the dice with anyone else
stop cat calling her
even Hickman struggled to do Secret Wars
assuming you mean 2015's
But on the flip side I'd like to see a Gurren Lagann scale of increasingly ballsy moves. That will never happen though
because Marvel loooove reusing names
ideal world I'd get Hickman in as a consultant on Phase 4, working with Fiege to plot out the next phase
with Hickman you know you're getting a slow build into a massive climax at the end
I'd like to see a movie where carol danvers and kamala khan are the bad guys and facist 3rd wave feminists.
Ideal world we wouldn't get Dark Knight Returns scenes in a setup movie for a team origin story
I like Kamala as a character, she's fun and doesn't lean too heavily on the Muslim crap
She has a bad origin story
I feel like if DC walks into a random comic book store, spins around blindfolded until they land on someone who has read a single one of their comics, they will get better writing
DC have been doing surprisingly well lately, they've learned from the MCU
I probably will see Shazam, I hear Aqua man is quite good
The more comic book characters you make the more creative you have to get as to not repeat the themes and messaging of other characters. Having merit-less heroes is almost impossible to avoid in the long term, even without SJW interference
and we've had those outlier movies that expand them like Logan
who would have thought we'd get a western themed comic book movie 10 years ago?
Right
I should watch Logan again, fucking loved that movie
i don't even like Westerns but it was so skillfully done
Logan sits in the sort of slot you could easily fit a DKR or Planet Hulk into
when a movie is done right, the genre ceases to matter
That quote, man... "You don't have to love her, but you have to take care of her" (something like that)
One of the best quotes ever
Wherein there's a backstory on some timeline where shit got real
True
Planet Hulk or as it should be known SPARTACUS IN SPACE ACE ACE!
And it doesn't have to be connected to everything else
there was an animated movie
Yeah.. but muh MCU lol
but maybe if they did something like Into the Spider-verse with it
I saw it
DKR also got an animated film
they could tell a distinct story not connected and experiment with tone and art style
They even got Bruce's gleeful sadism face in there
I've never seen a happier Batman ever
they also kind of did the Planet Hulk story in Hulk Agents of SMASH
too many Bruces...
Than that one panel where he jumps out of the Bat Tank to put mutants in critical condition
