mmcx is a type of coaxial connector
its used for antennas
that makes sense
Yep, fairly certain that same connector is used on modems, wireless cards, and 3G/4G cards.
It is, but since there are $2 dollar cables (even if they are DIY), some people might say $8 is kit cheap enough
we're talking mmcx cables
not just any cable
if it was a 3.5 male to male it'd be a different story
I dropped close to $20 on an 8-core 0.78mm bi-pin cable. But..the thing about MMCX is that it has to be strong.
I'm talking the solder job.
mmcx is junk
I prefer bi-pin rather than MMCX.
But you know, T2's are good so I'll deal with it
2 pin is far better
mmcx is such a shit connector for iems
bi-pin is much more durable.
its fine for antennas since it needs to be rotated and doesnt have a lot of repeated movement
but the way it locks is so shit for iems
I also prefer 2 pin, it's more reliable and durable
its a legit great iem connector
I've nearly dislocated my finger trying to yank out an MMCX connector on my Senfer PT15's
Those things are stupid strong.
its a shit mechanism
what do u expect
I think 2 pin is better but honestly its an artisan connector at this point
It's much more durable, not to mention you won't have the constant movement issues associated with MMCX.
I haven't had an MMCX cable break on me, except for a couple small antenna cables
0.78/0.75mm bi-pin is far more durable.
Change my mind.
mmxc looks cooler
😎
this got too heated guys, calm down. Kz will maybe one day have 6pin for 40 driver tho :^)
would like to see it, then our eardrums would have 20 pin sized holes each <:alismirk:230784726615588865>
why did mmcx become the standard connector type for chi-fi?
why do all mmcx cables with mics on ebay use literally the one same mic/button module 🤔
mmcx >>>> 2 pin
Is it cheap and just works TM?
i've always had 2 pi ncables fall out
mmcx cables are a pain to get out
