Really? It seems sturdier than pin just looking at it
versus 2 pin which is just 2 springed contacts clamping down on a pin
Hmm
2 pin is recessed with a plastic body so you cant really munt it
unless you bend it when its out of the socket
Well, that shouldn't happen unless you're retarded
Damn
Should've bought v80s
mmcx is generally fine if you dont unplug it like ever
but otherwise its just a shithouse connector
i really wish we had a good screw in standard for iems
you get the best of both worlds
How long will it last plugging it in and out?
15 times?
no ability for the pins to come loose, and no flexing of the entire connector
if only smc was smaller
@AstroJannah ive had some die from less

mmcx is just a really dumb connector for iems
it was designed for network antennas which needed to be stiff and tight fitting, but be able to rotate
not a constantly moving object
V80 also looks like it'd fit better, T2s over ear make the cable lean to the side at the highest point before going behind the ear
2 pin is straight up superior
i dont use iems daily atm
but i have my er4s for when i do
Just audio in regular
modded dt250, modded hd430, and my own custom headphones
+ a geekout 1000 and an amb beta22
Yeah you showed them a while back
Quite nice
i dont think ill ever find a headphone with better midrange than the 430 lol
Is it worth getting the dt880/990?
Rtings shills it alongside some other brands
990 sucks
880 is good if you can handle the treble
Ouch
it competes with the other midfi open backs pretty well
eg the k612/712, and the 600/650
best dynamics, worst fr
Jannah's search adventure for a proper headphone continue ...
step 1 stop buying chifi junk
step 2 save for a hd800
Technically yes but I am sore loser who breaks stuff during commute
