I have a theory to pitch to you. I believe that one of the reasons that Jewish people and Asians, particularly japanese people succeed more often due to literature being a more prominent thing in their lives. Jews literally learn a second language just to come of "age" which must be beneficial developmentally

I think you don't understand how what you're saying is just more arugments for it being genetic

even if you say this has been their cultural norm for generations, then to succeed in their community you needed a certain IQ, if not you failed to come of age

therefore you fail to reproduce and have a family

therefore it selects for people who are predisposed towards higher IQ

either way your "thought experiment" doesn't disprove that it's not genetic

if anything it just adds another social factor that selects for intelligence
