I'm really keen on the idea of mutual growth but I suspect thats not something a lot of people actively consider

I consider myself an Objectivist, so I try to be as Objective as I can be at all times. That's where I'm at with it. I saw what My father became, I saw what my firend'ss fathers became. Tbh I enjoyed a few of Rand's books but never clicked into the philosophy, especially considering her books on how her taste was best objectively, and the fact that her objective morality conveniently overlooked her vices
