Yes, things could definitely be better. I agree that fear of nuclear set the US back on reducing emissions to an extent. However, dependance on oil is mostly a transportation issue. One could argue that federal funding of roads increased the use of cars, but that doesn’t fully address how transportation will move away from the use of oil. Several car companies are starting to manufacture electric vehicles, which do help. Yet, these cars receive tax credits to help boost sales.

Well, I think the US should adopt English as the national language and make all students learn it. The left is too stupid to understand that English is the global business language, so teaching little Hispanic kids English literally gives them more opportunities.
