The reason I have these strong opinions is because it used to be one of my favorite franchise

I've watched a lot of franchises turn to shit, or devs who forget why their old games were good

The only *real* problem I have is manoeuvring around the new fans

I actually really liked Fallout 3

But 1/2 is just the gift that keeps on giving, I tire of 3 sooner

I nodded the shit outta 3 to keep interested. In the end my mods took up 3* the space of the core game

What are your thoughts on NV? It's actually hard for me to give an objective opinion because I'm pretty close to the series

I like everything but the gameplay enough to put up with the gameplay

And then I combat mod so it's a little better

Tbh rifles work better than automatics for that clunky-ass combat anyway

Gameplay was a strong factor for me, it carried me through the story (but again, bias for the universe also blinded me, so maybe the storys even worse than I think)

Story, characters, world building were all good. Gameplay was improved from 3

I really really like NV. I've never played 1/2 and I'm only a bit into 3.

The story is there for NV, the physics make the experience worthwhile, it has almost infinite replayability to what I've seen so far, there are enough quests to keep you going for a REALLY long time, the arsenal is Amazing, and the quests are spaced almost perfectly to make sure that you're neither overburdened or bored.

As it just so happens my Fallout 3 for ps3 came in the mail. So now I own it for every platform
