My priest is pretty based, our current Reverend has a big bushy Orthodox beard and is willing to say that we should focus on the world to come, in opposition to this fallen world

I like baptist churches. I’ve visited a couple of other denominations like non denomination, Methodist, and other but I prefer southern baptist.

Baptist don’t have Calvinist roots. I guess I should say the southern baptist church that I go to and have ever gone too don’t have roots in it. Im very against Calvinism.

yeah, double predestination is a bit problematic. it interferes with the will, and thus the ability to choose love

@Fyrjefe Yeah.Predestination is my least favorite thing. It’s a nihilist Christian sect and doesn’t leave room for grace.

anyway, glad to hear Blonde is somewhere sane. I love the trads, but some of them are big purity testers. her and her husband are naturally married. getting involved ( again?) in the church shouldn't face that much scrutiny, afaik. ymmv
