the controls lag a bit but it stabalizes really well

2019-07-25 03:29:11 UTC

there is an open source 3d camera design that would be hella cool on a drone

2019-07-25 03:29:26 UTC

omg fps russia!

2019-07-25 03:29:40 UTC

lol i loved that episode hahah

2019-07-25 03:29:48 UTC

Yep, Charlene is the BEST

2019-07-25 03:30:05 UTC

didnt he get raided or something?

2019-07-25 03:30:21 UTC

i heard he got caught up with some shady business

2019-07-25 03:30:32 UTC

one of his business partners ended up dead

2019-07-25 03:31:05 UTC

hadnt heard all that.. but if thats the case.. thats too bad

2019-07-25 03:31:35 UTC

it's unconfirmed, just what others that pay more attention than i do told me

2019-07-25 03:31:50 UTC

he was pretty early to the desent internet video game

2019-07-25 03:32:20 UTC

yeah, he was at that. hell of an idea and hell of a channel

2019-07-25 03:32:28 UTC

indeed

2019-07-25 03:32:33 UTC

suprised it hasn't been yanked

2019-07-25 03:34:00 UTC

Ever see one of these?

2019-07-25 03:34:00 UTC
2019-07-25 03:34:07 UTC

hrmm.. there aint a meetup channel in the discord.. bummer

2019-07-25 03:34:28 UTC

Wonder if an octocopter could support the weight of a chain saw equivalent...

2019-07-25 03:34:51 UTC

depends on the lift

2019-07-25 03:34:56 UTC

and size

2019-07-25 03:35:17 UTC

if you build a enormous custom ... yah def

2019-07-25 03:35:35 UTC

weight distribution would be the key

2019-07-25 03:35:56 UTC

well... that goes for anything flying

2019-07-25 03:36:08 UTC

would highly depend on the saw; have to use an electric disconnect

2019-07-25 03:36:55 UTC

well, it's not just the flying, it's the saw swinging with resistance

2019-07-25 03:37:09 UTC

but given the forces involved i would think that a quad or octo would be faar better than any helicopter of equivalent mass

2019-07-25 03:37:39 UTC

yeah, i think so too. especially if you could tether it electrically

2019-07-25 03:38:45 UTC

also adaptive rotor speeds on drones would take out a bit of human error

2019-07-25 03:39:06 UTC

but i think for my next project. i want to experiment with substituting a camera hanging from a gimble...with an extruder

2019-07-25 03:39:41 UTC

lol printerdrone?

2019-07-25 03:40:30 UTC

yeah, i was thinkin that too. engine controllers are far easier at accounting for the load variation and electric motors are far more agile with both rotirs and the blade

2019-07-25 03:40:39 UTC

i want to build a multiaxis cnc drone at some point.. but once again too many other more important items on my plant 😛

2019-07-25 03:40:41 UTC

a swam of printer drones

2019-07-25 03:41:36 UTC

plate*

2019-07-25 03:41:52 UTC

i hear ya, i got a book of shit that i'll never get to

2019-07-25 03:42:48 UTC

yah, ill retire and die b4 i cant invent a fraction of the bullshit i think up

2019-07-25 03:42:59 UTC

yeah, cnc would be pretty cool

2019-07-25 03:43:10 UTC

lol i am the same

2019-07-25 03:43:28 UTC

doesnt make it any less fun to think up new things ill never get too

2019-07-25 03:43:41 UTC

definately
