@NoFunAllowed so should I just go grab all those certs?
@NoFunAllowed because I could easily pass the tests for em
@Ari It'd increase opportunities
brb
I was just planning on going for a CCNP
If I had trouble getting a job with a CCNA
Companies like certs
Welcome to the /csg/ server, <@!268167109689737228>!
Even the shitty comptia ones?
O_o
^ only when begining your IT jorney
Especially without formal education, certs are generally a good thing
I got told by all my buddies in the US that comptia certs look bad
later certs are like "ahh you worked in this company .. its all that matters for us"
oh looks like i have not seen that nickname
@NoFunAllowed well I mean I've already been a SysAdmin in the US but that was when I was 17 lel
I wanted a job that is well a bit on the higher end
Then being a shitty sysadmin
Welcome to the /csg/ server, <@!268167109689737228>!

As long as you can prove you can do stuff, you should be fine. Certs are an easier way of prooving it.
Thats really all there is to it
CCNA should prove most of it lol
but I guess I'll grab a CompTIA security+
It at least doesn't sound as bad as the other meme certs they have
enjoy the support desk
I got an ipv6 cert tho
@Windatica the glory of new zedland is if I don't get the job I want I just simply wont take it : ^)
