In all fairness, no one should be legislating on the internet if they don't know how it works at an at least basic level.
The reason why people can't compete with YT is because YT itself couldn't shoulder its operating costs without Google
@analbumcover so basically you're talking about everyone in our government that barely knows how to use Gmail
😂 😂 😂 😂 😂
Which is why the best way to combat it is to rely on torrent and blockchain based services
or everyone that uses a car knows how to repair one?
or how a car works?
@honorlost84 Yes. They have no business making law if they don't have a basic grasp of what they're legislating 🙂
@ManAnimal you're conflating your point. just because you operate the vehicle doesn't mean you know how to build one is the point I think you were trying to make
i think blockchain and torrent is the holds the key to displacing yt, google and restoring the market forced
that was what i was pointing out honor
that comment was direceted at anal
@ManAnimal I figured I just wanted to clarify
YT and the MSM and FB are forced to ban anything questionable because their association between ads and videos is rather random
this is because they lack the ability to accurately catalog videos and they have to be devious in the way the collect demographic info
Okay, and?
but blockchain enables a platform to solve that problem
and render a superior product to those looking to advertise
so basically what you're trying to say is that alternative Medias that provide a better product need to have a better way to monetize said product?
because a company doesn't need your identity; only your demographic info, which can be stored in a blockchain to maintain an anon id and then just share the demo info based on user settings
not a sales pitch; a technical specification
Does it have an RFC?
Google makes their money tvia adsense/adwords; MSM makes money through similar mechanism
but these systems have limitations
limitations that a system which seemlessly integrate ads with pateron like serves could solve providing a superior product from the perspective of both users and those filling the pockets of the MSM and GOogle
But does it have an IETF RFC?
given I am authoring the SRS; no
I'd get that together first before selling the idea. Have something on paper, that people can contribute to.
again, i am not selling anything
You're selling an idea
i am discussing the basis of the way the current system and the internet works
what drives the business model and has since the early 90s
You're advertising a system based on concepts that have no technical specifications to be reviewed
you are being autistic
You're being naive
requirements gathering proceeds technical specification
That's what an RFC is for. It's a Request For Comments
those come LATER
do you even know what CMMI IS?
No, they don't. Do you have anything on paper, or are you going to ramble about some imaginary technology?
