It's not honk honk, it's wrong to call people a fat nigger
Emacs > Vim
For the above, the answer is “by their last names”
You can get a real editor now adays for free, why add a learning curve
99% of the "real editors" are garbage
and you don't have to do your own config from scratch, and you never had to even when stallman was the only maintainer
Just download vscode and use it for everything
It would be like using edlin today..
where's that picture @Unironic Ohio Supremecist posted of the foot stomping down, need that for you with Microsoft
I don't know if you're baiting or you're serious
Original or shoop?
I browse the web with lynx
Not comparable
so cutting edge
text is just text
lol i use the vim extension for vscode
most of the "IDE features" brainlets love like autocomplete are already there
Vimperator was the only vim clone that had decent features 😉
JetBrains is the only company who has tools in their IDE's where I think, "wow that's neat"
but you can plug the IDEA engine into Emacs
since it's separate from any of the JetBrains products
Oh ya, I had a code editor they made, was the shit
JetBrains has the best tools
I don't think there's anything better for java than Intelli-J
Rider, couldn't remember the name.
AFAIK all their editors have emacs and vim mode too, but like most things that do it, it's just a shitty hot key rebind.
Rodney reed is guilty and so are the central park 5
Rodney Reed thing is so dumb
They find his semen in a dead girl and people buy his story, "WE WUZ IN A SEKRIT RELATIONZ, (ALSO WE WUZ KANGS)"
we have /g/ regulars here I see
then again that was apparent the other day by the Android and Linux wankfest that happened
@S.Tiger I'm not a /g/ user I actually have had tech jobs, and still work in industry.
mostly referring to the defense of Vim
I don't know anyone who actually does programming work that uses Vim
and I know people ranging from their mid-20s to early 40s
And how many people do you know who do programming work?
never used g
