if you didn't take a break, and go to the office and make plans you might not graduate if it took you more than 5 years full time

we have people going 9 years now fulltime before finishing

I'd be ok with cutting federal loans to colleges. It would SUCK short term but they'd be forced to make it more affordable like back in the day.

@Purple that and the huge mutlibillion dollar endowments that can only be used to subsidize tuition are why we've seen the crazy price increase in the first place

A lot of people aren't aware almost all the big schools have endowments from rich alumni a lot of them have rules, many of them are meant to help low income people.

They can only use that money for that purpose

It's definitely an issue I think we should be talking about but you know they never will. Same reason why they don't audit the budget or whatever. They always want to keep the money flowing.
