because I wanna be able to use a tablet like a touchscreen laptop, not a huge phone
I don't understand though, why not buy a touchscreen laptop or hybrid so? What about the Surface, is that what you want?
people who own a touchscreen convertable just use it as a laptop without a trackpad
yeah except a surface is fucking expensive and windows 10 isnt the best touchfriendly OS
Most people including myself are just looking for a tablet to watch movies and browse the web. Android to me is perfect for that, dunno why I'd use a tablet for anything else tbh. After that I just say get a laptop
get a 16: 9 or 16:10 then
Hey, I was looking to buy a GPD Win or a GPD XD. I was wondering if anyone had bought one and if they're worth it, as well as where you bought yours and how much it cost. I'm kind of reluctant to pay $350 for experimental Chinese game consoles without asking around.
What differently would you do with a tablet featuring ChromeOS?
way better multitasking
tbh I maybe just wanta 2-in-1
Yeah shame theres nothing really good out there apart from the Surface
@BDrake The XD looks pretty cool, don't think I've seen anybody talk about it in the threads though
What do you want to know
I bought it from the official GPD Ali store
is windows even usable on them?
Yea
It's pretty neat
You can scale size up because shit is small at 720p
Does it emulate well? Is it a tolerable workstation on trips? I fly a lot and my laptop is huge. I'd like something that doesn't need a separate bag while I'm trying to navigate an airport.
I would like one for Linux emulation
I haven't emulated
lfmao
its like why people buy it
I mostly use it for steamshit
Ah. Well, no worries. Does it run Steam well, at least?
Far cry 2 runs on it
Yea steam is fine
typical CIA nigger
Neat. Do you think it was worth the money?
Kind of
It's neat
