Your lack of trust in people says more about your ability to pick people to trust, and what your expectations of others are, than it does about whether or not people are trustworthy as a whole

My lack of trust absolutely does say so, but my trust was broken very very young and I seem to pick the wrong people 9/10 times mate.

So invest time in figuring out why that is and what your expectations of a trustworthy relationship would look like

And then make different choices
