The barrel from.any of the company I've listed will be lined. Chrome or nitrided.

Bolts should be coated as well, psa bolts definitely are

Bolts come either uncoated or coated. Nitriding is a coat. Chrome is a coat (I gave my father an m16a1 clone with chromed bolt. Super smooth)

Parkerizing isnt a coat. Its gritty. But if from colt or fn, bcm itd be fine.

But an uncoated bolt from a little brand or no name company I would avoid.

If you want a more premium build, aero or bcm for sure. I'd buy a nice one for YOUR first AR. Not that psa isnt nice, but you can feel subtleties for sure

It's a disconnect on philosophy. I havent been able to talk about the deeper things to her in awhile
