Nah, it's not particularly good asthetically if you're not very careful, but just bend the plastic arms out to your liking.

You will most likely end up witha flat spot on the top, but it's not that bad.

Making the point that it's not cheap because you have to get a phantom power supply. I dsitinctly recall telling him you can get power supplies as cheap as 20-25$, then he comes back with "it'll sound like shit if you don't have a high end audio interface"
