are all three paid shipping?
teavivre has free shipping above $30
yeah just noticed
echocha has $5 off if you use SIGNUP coupon
40$
yeah I saw that, bringing it down to 1$ shipping
YS is paid shipping, which is why I'll do a massive haul all at once next time
Ill buy sample sized from eco cha then
I haven't discovered the differences in tea yet, which ones do you recommend from eco-cha?
I recommend wulongs, or tongting tea
a part from Jin Xuan
wtf is dingdong
xD
Jin Xuan from Eco Cha tastes like popcorn and butter, smells like popcorn
Dong Ding is nice, a vegetal tasting Jin Xuan is how I'd describe it
hmm, i see it on the bestsellers as well
taiwan really does have a better tea industry
I can't afford anything else from Eco Cha so that's all I can tell you
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
absolutely despicable people otherwise
mhm thanks
What's the best way to brew after gongfu
and how much can you brew with 20g
the other main way is "western" brewing, which is really just steeping it in water for about 3 mins. 5g/350ml/3 mins are typical paramters.
but I prefer gongfu much more anyway
7g/130ml/25 seconds, adding 5 seconds each steep for oolong
or 15 seconds, add 5 secs each steep for puer
what's a steep
immersion
ah
so, you steep the leaves in a teapot, leaving them in there, giving you like 2 tea cups? then you can steep again in the same teapot?
that's pretty much the western method
it works
hm okay, but is the 3min the minimum amount you wait
or do you get the leaves out
3 min (give or take) is the point when you pour
but the water still extracts from the tea in the pot right?
by the way, literally paying for shipping

yeah
