Anybody have any experiences with sunglasses

2017-05-26 17:52:10 UTC

dont expect uv protection

2017-05-26 17:54:07 UTC

How do you test for uv protection

2017-05-26 17:55:09 UTC

Stare at the sun while wearing and check if you go blind

2017-05-26 17:55:17 UTC

you dont

2017-05-26 17:55:22 UTC

"UV stands for ultraviolet, meaning ultraviolet light. UV light is invisible to the naked eye, so it’s not to be confused with visible sunlight; the rays of the sun that activate the pain receptors in our eyes and cause us to look away from direct sunlight. Ultraviolet light cannot be seen or felt and does its damage silently, over time. It’s the ultraviolet light of the sun that causes suntans and sunburns."

I got the obligatory fake raybans. They're better made than my older real ones, but accidentally ordered reflecting ones and they have a strange square pattern that's somewhat visible. I'd rather spend a bit more in a reputable store, be it a drugstore

2017-05-26 17:56:15 UTC

>Testing can be one with a simple trick that will require access to a UV flashlight. You

2017-05-26 17:56:20 UTC

I don't care about fashion enough to get raybands
