I dunked it in water, something broke
and I just wanna see what's broke
<:kms:327934280619655179>
it should be completely dehydrated now after a day in rice
and a few hours hooked up to the charger as apparently the flashing red notif light means dead battery (so charge for a few hours) or dead phone
no the phone will not start with no battery plugged
and now the weird qc_ushub (or whatever) isn't popping up in device manager
Send it back for warranty
that's what i sent an email to geekbuying about (excluding the water part ofc)
i'm just worried that pink part is a water detector thingie
ya know, like a universal indicator but for moisture
oh ok, makes sense then
its usb -> battery -> phone
how its connected
normaly water detector thing in phones is in charging port
the sticker is white in this teardown by a pajeet
caucasian*
*but* its possible he has the pajeet version of the note 4
pajeet*
normaly they change to pink so it would explain it
this is why you dont pee on your phone dude
@dave try asking if they have xiaomeme ones https://www.aliexpress.com/item/100pcs-lot-Water-Damage-Seal-Warranty-Indicator-Set-Sensors-Stickers-for-Apple-iPhone-4-4G-Motherboard/32821512127.html
FOR SANSUNG
Onii SANSUNG
find one of the right size, obviously
i think those ones that tribit linked would work
about same size
you can probably just cut it to size
they wont notice
Or should I just wing it?
They'll know
that's what the sticker is for
