only thing ive heard better than a HD800 is a utopia

i've eq'd my dt990s and they're actually so good for the $110 i paid

if you've got 990's stick with them then

you could probably find a used broken dt880 and transplant drivers anyway

i dont know if im bored of their sound or what but i dont listen to any where near the amount of music i used to so new headphones it is

this is my 990 EQ I just did it with their FR graph and then cleaned it up using a sinegen and muh ear

ive tried to EQ like a thousand times over the last decade but always just messed with it for 5 mins, hated it, and gave up

i spent like 3 hours on that and to my ear it is strictly superior to no EQ

i just eq with sine sweeps
