Isn't Pinyin pretty easy to use once you know how to speak chinese?
yeah pinyin is super easy
it has a shorter alphabet than english too
Classic Shell will go Open Source
Windows 10 updating frequenly being a major hurdle for the CS dev
Seems to be Fall creators update of windows 10 to be the last officially supported release for Classic Shell
but like characters and speech take time just because of memorization
all characters are different but they have some similar strokes to give you an idea of what it is
but speaking is rough, if you dont meorise which words have which tones no one can understand you
if i forget a ton and im talking to someone i usually just say the word in four different tones until they figure out what im trying to say
unlike english where we just go by sound they go by tone and they get confused if you say a word with the wrong tone seems weird to us but pretty normal for them
tho chink grammar is super easy to pick up
waaaayyyy easier than english grammart
how long have you been learning chinese?
Tonal languages sound like a trip.
:v
just don't update windows 😎
@Gratzl eh well this year i havent really been learning much because too busy with college but i try and stay on top of what i already know. i started learning in 2012 i think tho
about 5 almost 6 years or so
why is everything besides smartphones xiaomi sells expensive as shit
it isnt really
it is online tho like i bought xiaomi stuff at the mi store in china and it was like dirt cheap i got a battery there for like $7 and it was $35 on goybeast
Purifiers, humidifiers, robot vacuums are all pretty expensive compared to competitors
yeah that stuff expensive
but its not like awful tho like 400 bucks for a vacuum isnt too bad considering some guy for like 800+
Was thinking of getting a humidifier but that shit is more expensive than my ilife robot vacuum
plus im a loyal fanboy so i buy anything xiaomi puts out without question
that guy is retarded
he couldve gotten an ilife for 150 bucks
they have the humidifier for like $20 tho
I like xiaomi as well, it's just that when they advertised as selling smartphones at a near bill of material price I thought it would be similar for their other products
oh well
Xiaomi stuff is actually decent so you're probably paying for quality
$28my bad\
yeah ive never had a problem with any of my xiaomi stuff. im always impressed with the quality for the price and i have yet to ever have an issue or feel like something wasnt worth it
Well my redmi note 4 has about 10 dead pixels
only xiaomi item i have a problem with is my Redmi Note 4 and thats cuz the mic sucks but honestly for the price it doesnt matter
But I can't be mad at them, it must've been mostly my fault for dropping it
and I paid next to nothing for it
every single item i get from them im happy i got because it surpasses my expectations and theyre the only company that i get things from that im literally happy with everything so i have no problem shilling for them
ive dropped my redmi note 4 a lot and its still fine only damage was i cracked the screen protector. so i just bought a new one for $1
