the OPO was chink glass and it broke in my pocket

i've never cracked a single screen

1st: classik indestructable nokia that I had for a short short while
2nd: Desire HD (which had a weird HTC bootloader lock on it?) I sold it to some sketchy drug dealer.
3rd: Xiaomi Redmi Note 2, installed Cyanogen mod and then I fixed and sold to my older brother
4th: PPTV king 7, which didn't like being flashed AT ALL so I left it stock with Nova launcher
and now I'm stuck with one of my friend's spare Samsung Galaxy FIT from 2011 while I wait for this hopefully not dodgy 5X

however i bent my redmi note 3 slightly

I cracked my Redmi Note 2 at a party. wasnt even my fault, my drunk friend threw it on the ground like a retard and then never claimed he actually did it -_-

my PPTV's screen died from a similar drop. I was pulling my jeans UP and it slipped from my hand, hit the tiles.
the screen and touch were working but it kept flickering, until I shook it the tiniest bit while walking to my room and it just died

I opened it to check the display's connector but that's all fine, so its a broken display.

The glass never broke though. gorilla glass is also a silicon lottery, shits never consistant in strength.

tthe glass xiaomi phones are using is pretty good honestly

i'm pretty sure the screen should have cracked at least couple of times

but nothing happend

first time i dropped it was like 2 days later

it is but the ways they customise it for oems make it differ in strength

i had a case and the phone slipped out of that shit case

and it was like 1m drop on straight concrete

nothing happend to the screen

a lot of cosmetic damages though
