does any of you have good experience with a ~50 USD chink dash camera?

I can get a xiaomi yi dashcam for about that price, that seems like the best choice atm

not good for dashcam use

It has a feature for looping like a dashcam

a dashcam needs to do:
- loop recording (Yi 4K can do that iirc)
**- saving a clip from being overwritten**
