I have a 60W fast charger.
This one
Would it be a good idea to use this to charge small devices?
does it have anything written on it
like 5v 2a or something like that
It has PD 2.0 Quick Wall Charge and QC 3.0, outputs to 5V3A,9V3A,12V/3A 15V/3A,20V/3A.
I would be using this cable
>60W
>1 port
Why
To use with that cable.
It can feed three devices at the same time
USB-C is capable of a theoretical 60W in power mode iirc
And it's the recomended spec for speedcharging a gpd pocket.
But I want to use it with other devices.
That are way smaller and don't have quick charge.
actually wouldnt usb-c technically be capable of 100W considering its 20 amp 5 volt spec in power delivery mode?
The chargers in ali go up to 65W.
i assume because apple specs their usb-c charging at about that
Yeah, that's what they say, apple and Nintendo switch.
But look at this phone.
What would happen If I plug it with that cable to that charger?
id assume its like standard usb where the device has to signal its capable of higher current charging
So it should be safe?
i can only assume
What would be the worst thatcould happen?
It melts
Yeah, but from the device to the installation or just the device?
just the device
make sure you play saleel sawarim as you do it
<:alithink:327930371796893698> Not sure if worth the try.
ever heard of bms
But I will play that and put it in viedo.
the phone will ask for X power and will get X power or less
battery management system
iirc this controls how much current goes in and out of the battery
so its safe
All devices that charge with USB micro have this?
all modern things with batteries have this
99% of time
its a very small circuit usually
