2018-05-07 20:38:37 UTC

also aren't they like $1 everywhere?

2018-05-07 20:39:36 UTC

how do you know that?

2018-05-07 20:39:52 UTC

and why

2018-05-07 20:40:36 UTC

I see them at the discount bin at discount retailers

2018-05-07 21:53:50 UTC

@Stoopeedo why the hell do you want a delta with a budget like that

2018-05-07 21:53:52 UTC

go corexy

2018-05-07 21:55:02 UTC

delras' main advantage is speed, but corexy has them beat there _and_ on the size of the envelope, and you can reasonably have multiple hotends vs. deltas making that almost impossible with effector tilt

2018-05-07 21:55:22 UTC

also deltas are a horrible pain to calibrate

2018-05-07 21:56:15 UTC

deltas are the "i want super cheap and i want it to print fast" option, if you have a $1000+ budget to play with there's no reason not to go corexy instead

@Kaytee what corexy then

2018-05-08 02:39:49 UTC

I want something with closed enclosure and being able to print nylon/petg

2018-05-08 02:40:11 UTC

flashforge seems like a decent company but I think all of them have max hotend temp about 240

2018-05-08 04:19:52 UTC

voron

2018-05-08 09:00:57 UTC

How do I source LCD panels and such from shenzhen?

2018-05-08 09:04:07 UTC

check taobao if you cant find it on aliexpress

2018-05-08 09:04:24 UTC

You could also use alibaba inquires

2018-05-08 09:08:20 UTC

Anyone got a good USB-c phone dock/stand?

2018-05-08 11:23:44 UTC

You could build your own Corexy, see "hypercube evo" on thingiverse

2018-05-08 11:24:18 UTC

see, the issue is I don't want to build one right now

2018-05-08 11:24:27 UTC

I want to have it be mostly ready out of the box

2018-05-08 11:24:47 UTC

so I'll have ability to print with most plastic and then I'll be able to print parts for the next one

2018-05-08 11:25:00 UTC

Or d-bot

2018-05-08 11:26:06 UTC

If you are looking at using it for professional stuff then buy a premade one but if you're a hobbyist definitely build it yourself
