why even have them then
I didn't know you need to lube your flashlights
lubed up o-ring will last much longer, and lubed up threads will be easier to screw/unscrew while also repelling water better
It does make sense when I think about it though
Yeah, especially for the rings
if you have a better brand flashlight at home you may have noticed they came in pre-lubed
Thanks
I never had a flashlight for more than $5 so I had no idea
Gonna get some chink lights now
I remember I once even got a little card with a light
that went something like "Dear please lube threads and o-ring"
Explain how you lube a flashlight pls
The only time I would do that is to squat on it
Something I was wondering, does constant on consume more power than flashing mode?
I guess that mostly depends on the light
the laws of physics would suggest it does, yes
unless your light is throttling because of constant on
for example my Emisar D4 when in strobe mode is at like 50% ish brightness
now you're losing me
speak like you're talking to a retard
duty cycle = how much % of the time it's on
uhhhhhhhhhhhhh
good question
batteries are charging I'd have to check later
That is a lot of fucking around for something you're probably gonna chuck out for an upgrade
@Krieger The Viking Plague Doctor why would you throw away a good flashlight
@Cole Cole do you have a recommendation for a flashlight to mount on a bike? I didn't decide yet
hmm
BLF A6 comes with a bunch of useful bike strobe modes
one of the modes would be ideal for bikes imo:
light is on, but every other second or so, it pulsates in a higher brightness
mode is literally called bike flasher heh
idk I'm kinda like
If I ain't using it because I upgraded it I'll get rid of it
I'm not the type who will save every phone he owned type guy
