I am a poorfag and I like to pinch pennies. but that's not to say I don't like to fantasize about Pixel phones and 1080Ti desktops.

I just don't understand what the difference really is at that point

depends on what you're doing I guess

the X220 and T420 are the best laptops if you know your way around a screwdriver and don't have much money

but if you do have much money, there's the LG Gram or Dell XPS

or even the X1C

cloud rendering exists at literally half a dollar per hour these days

a $3000 gaming laptop will give you top tier gaming performance for at least 5 years assuming you don't break it
