I got a cheap a bit over low-end model from China from another brand

it will only make your eyes and head hurt due low HZ

Dont know about this, but I use it to have it run on very low illumination

since it will save the setting it is on even if power is off

@bentech there is/was some seller on ali what had genuine dotstar leds for darn cheap

if you want some moving color/music stuff those are pretty much way to go

i just want general lighting lol

as their higher pvm and transition HZ does not give you eyecancer and headache

well dont get general lighting

just use it as a night lamp so its very low light.

Id recommend you to get like an IKEA bulb for 2 euros

that's perfect for general lighting

@bentech if you have IKEA nearby go get their 980/1000 lumen one

or order identical 15w ones from china (high cri)

those RGB lights quite poor for general illumination

iirc at least Ming&shen/ben whatever maker had decent 15w ones

i have 1 of those in living room

iirc the one i have is not high-cri more like 80 iirc

but you cant get everything :P

but i know there is some sellers who use epistar high-cri (90+) leds on their lamps on aliex

dunno if they have 1000 lumen ones or just the normal around 500 ones (~5-6w)

the 500 is the generic, office/work/study light

lel single corepro what i have in my study/work room costs 12 euros apparently

so getting 6 pack of highcris is dearn good deal :D

i have 20w philips corepro on my roof what illuminates whole room darn well for drawing and other uses (its quite blinding at mornigns :P) 80-90 cri what was good enough

2500 lumens on that one

i hate bad lumen lighting with passion

anything "warm white" or sub 500 lumens is on shitlist :P
