How come the Mi Camera app only goes up to 1080p but OpenCamera let's me go up to 4k video?

mi-camera probly does some stabilization etc trickery

on worst case its same camera module than "better model of that phone" but the app only disables full use from that module

take identical videos and check filesize/quality

I've done so and not only does the micam app blow up exposure but the 4k video is like twice the size

The framerate is better because of the non blown up exposure
