Do you consider assistants like Google Now automatically learning my routines and giving me suggestions and optimizing my battery life, as well as being interact-able by voice and responding in a decently smart way not AI?

I think it's reaching a point where consumers can reasonably call it interacting with an ai

>optimising my batterylife< ... yeah google now/cortana/whatthefuckapplehas

2018-09-05 20:08:48 UTC

are no where near AIs

2018-09-05 20:09:03 UTC

voice controlled notepads with NN backservice

2018-09-05 20:09:06 UTC

Legit, they're adding battery optimization in android P

2018-09-05 20:09:18 UTC

that almost doubled the shitty ass Pixel 2 battery life

2018-09-05 20:09:27 UTC

sure they are getting smarter

2018-09-05 20:09:33 UTC

in real life it's probably gonna be just like 25% tho

2018-09-05 20:09:42 UTC

AI is just a buzzword now tho

2018-09-05 20:09:48 UTC

like nvidia AI enhanced graphics :^)

2018-09-05 20:09:54 UTC

I'm sure everyone is aware it's just a marketing term. People do not care in general

2018-09-05 20:09:57 UTC

and can seem "intelligent" but all they do is execute certain pre-set functions relating certain parameters you give them

2018-09-05 20:10:09 UTC

*takes pics with his mi mix 2s ai camera*

2018-09-05 20:10:33 UTC

2018-09-05 20:10:46 UTC

i cba to have a skincare routene 😦

2018-09-05 20:10:48 UTC

AI is the future of course

2018-09-05 20:10:49 UTC

If your camera automatically beautifies and suggests filters based on examining the content, it could be considered shitty AI

2018-09-05 20:10:56 UTC

imo

2018-09-05 20:11:04 UTC

also skincare is fuckin easy dude

2018-09-05 20:11:10 UTC

just wash up

2018-09-05 20:11:29 UTC

a intel ex engineer is working on some iphone app that analyazes your twitter feed and tells you if people are negative/positive trustworthy etc

2018-09-05 20:11:32 UTC

at the least go wash your face with cold water, wipe off with a towel, and use moisturizer

2018-09-05 20:11:32 UTC

its weird stuff

2018-09-05 20:11:51 UTC

lmao what a trustlet

2018-09-05 20:12:02 UTC

suggested filters : pictures gamma and etc levels by picture analysis + some code for image rego on "smile, scenery, setting" stuff

2018-09-05 20:12:04 UTC

anybody with (((berg)) in their name

2018-09-05 20:12:11 UTC

way away from AI

2018-09-05 20:12:27 UTC

might seem like smart but irl they are quite dummy

2018-09-05 20:12:28 UTC

They're probably taking data and suggestions and teaching it based on that

2018-09-05 20:12:30 UTC

does anyone know if tele2 works on my note 5 in the netherlands?

2018-09-05 20:12:34 UTC

2018-09-05 20:12:35 UTC

2018-09-05 20:12:53 UTC

@Cad indeed some do "crowdsourcing" too

2018-09-05 20:13:00 UTC

unlimited everything for 26 euros a month is tempting

2018-09-05 20:13:22 UTC

what ends up with > all pictures in internet look exactly same pastell colored bullshit or ultra HDR tilt-shifted

2018-09-05 20:13:27 UTC

not wrong

2018-09-05 20:13:51 UTC

@moshi even data?

2018-09-05 20:13:52 UTC
