they sometimes cut too deep
they are pretty well designed to fit most hands and they iirc use same steel as wusthof
god knows if they are comissioned on same factory in china
Its not the steel more than the heat treat for knives tbh.
indeed
ikea knives focus more on lasting forever tho
by considering steel matters on what HRC and other properties knife gets in the end
its ~
and they do have different blade profile
wusthof uses 14Β¨per side iirc
>buy a cheap chinese knife
>so dull I can't even kill myself with it
>cry myself to sleep once again
dunno about ikea
This reminds me I need to work on my wetstone technique
Used it once and that was it
"It is fake damascus pattern on ordinary metal"
Oh, my friend, this is impossible. The knife is very sharp. We have already been cut by the knife several times while delivering.
Time to give it more tried
I'm not sure what you're talking about. IKEA knives were the first things I had cause cheap obviously. The initial sharpness sucked anyway and even after sharpening they got never over 'meh'. And there was no elastic one in the set, so fuck that too.
were they 365+ things or some older gens
(im mostly talking about 365+ series )
full metal body ?
Nope
yeah then not 365s
What do you guys think of ceramic knives?
(((Wood))) handle
@foxhunt good for their uses .. i rather avoid them personaly as i prefer to beat my knives
^
>hot deals knives
the lack of orders and ratings scares me
oh yeah i forgot to fix that one (thanks cole)
Yeah I have a cheap ceramic knife and I am pretty happy with it
They're good, but after I saw them crushing when a friend dropped one.. I rather not invest in them
Never had a ceramic knife
I desperately need to buy new kitchen knives, a nice set
instead of the horror we have rn
knives ranging from anywhere to 25 year old to 2 year old, all shit
sometimes I rather cut with my Spyderco
>25years old
Have you tried to sharpen them?
