not max practical range
500 grain bullet at around 700 m/s
What's the bullet type?
.45-70-500
I can split heads with a 556 at 500 yards no problem. Not sure of the trajectory angle on the 45-70 at that range
@Jossur Surtrson It's really not a practical cartridge for combat tbh
It's more for lul factor or for shooting big game
Is it pretty expensive to shoot?
I'm just interested in it. Not saying it's a bad round. Never heard of it before.
Definitely has punching power, that's for sure.
@Fevs I've never needed to buy more since none of my ranges will let me shoot it. It goes around 2-3 dollars per round for 500 grain, so yeah it's pricey
I'm saving it for the race war as such.
damn
At 2-3 dollars a round, it better do more for me than hit my target. It better give me a back rub at night, too.
@Jossur Surtrson It will pass through a tree and make a deer's head explode
I mean total skull destruction
That's a "If I'm gonna die in this trench, I'm taking out as many of these people as I can in the most violent way possible" round.
like I said it's really just an oversized cartridge for luls
I use a 22-250 for deer.
The speed of the round causes hydrostatic shock. They typically drop where they stood.
They just stand there, and slowly drop dead
It's a beautiful thing. Spend less than a dollar to put meat on the table and money in my pocket that would otherwise be spent at some grocery store owned by (((someone))) I probably wouldn't like.
I don't hunt for sport
Hunting for sport is reserved for psychopaths
My compassion and respect for the animal is also why I don't bow hunt. A swift bullet through the heart or in the neck... instant, painless death.
Imagine not using 308.
Imagine not owning a PTR 91.
Make reacc pls
You're already a reacc

This one is better than that one my lord.
Kk I'll get it all edited when I get home
I don't even have an eyebrow react. Sad!
Oh shit
We fugged up
Did anyone ever play Halo 2?
Halo reach was peak optics
